Past simple（一般过去时）的否定式与疑问式

He did not enjoy the meal（他不喜欢那顿饭）。一般过去时的完整否定形式为：主语（这里是 he）+ did not + 不带 to 的不定式（这里是 to enjoy）。注意：did not 的缩略形式是 didn't。例：I did not/didn't buy that ring（我没有买那枚戒指）。

He does not enjoy the meal（他不喜欢这顿饭）是一般现在时的否定形式，而不是一般过去时。

例如，I will not do what you say（我不会按你说的做）是一般将来时的否定形式，但这里需要的是一般过去时的否定形式。

Did you visit the museum?（你参观博物馆了吗？）使用 did（助动词）+ 主语（这里是 you）+ 不带 to 的动词原形（to visit），构成一般过去时的疑问句。例：did you enjoy the show?（你喜欢这场演出吗？）

例如可以说 I can visit you next Sunday（我下周日可以来看你），但这不是一般过去时的疑问句。

A visitor（访客）是指到访某人或某地的人，但这个词无法用来构成疑问句。例：the museum gets visitors from all over the country（这家博物馆迎接来自全国各地的访客）。
